Arnold Schwarzenegger is a well-known name all around the globe and is recognized for his many accomplishments. Born in 1847, in Thal, Austria, Arnold Schwarzenegger is a megastar who is known as a world-famous athlete, a body builder, a successful businessman, a Hollywood action star, a best-selling author, philanthropist, environmentalist and California’s 38th governor. Arnold was born to Aurelia Schwarzenegger and Gustav Schwarzenegger (a local police chief). He was the second child of Aurelia Schwarzenegger and Gustav Schwarzenegger.

From a young age, Arnold was very much interested in body building and physical fitness. He also took part in many contests in Europe and by the age of 20, he became the youngest person to win the ‘Mr. Universe’ title. Arnold’s obsession with bodybuilding and physical fitness was a major driving force that led him to where he is now. His journey to fame begun when he emigrated to United States in the year 1968 and won seven ‘Mr. Olympia’ and five ‘Mr. Universe’ titles before moving on to the film industry. His fitness prowess would follow him throughout his career and provide a foundation for many of his business ventures and subsequent trademark filings.

Arnold Schwarzenegger got a college degree from University of Wisconsin and soon did his first feature ‘Hercules in New York’. He was awarded the Golden Globe for New Male Star of the Year for his role in ‘Stay Hungry’. In the year 1984, Arnold Schwarzenegger got a role he had been wanting for a while and blew away audiences with his amazing performance in the movie ‘Terminator’. At this point in his life, Schwarzenegger’s fame was ever-increasing, leading to his eventual trademark filings to protect his well-known brand and personality.

In the year 1986, Arnold married a TV journalist Maria Shriver and the couple had four children. However, they were later separated. In August 2003, Arnold revealed that he would be objecting for the Governor of California in the California recall political election. He was sworn as the 38th Governor of California in 2003. Some of his accomplishments as the Governor of California included nation-leading Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006. This purpose of this act was to deal with global warming by reducing the greenhouse emissions in California and by cutting costs. In addition to this, Arnold also made some huge investments to improve the aging infrastructure of California. With his Million Solar Roofs Plan and Hydrogen Highway establishment, he was successful in creating a green print as he desired. Arnold’s top priority was to restore health and fitness. Over the years, Arnold Schwarzenegger has been recognized with many awards such as “National Leadership Award” and “Renewable Energy Leader of the Decade” for his continuous efforts and great vision.

Arnold Schwarzenegger has won many awards for his performance in Hollywood, his devotions towards giving back to his state, his business career, his political career and his interest towards physical fitness. Some of these awards include Primetime Emmy Honor for Superior Documentary, he won a star on the Hollywood Stroll of Popularity, he received many other awards such as World Musician Honor, Maverick Tribute Honor, Lifetime Success Award by the Publicists Guild of America, MTV Motion Picture Award and many more. He was also honored in his hometown in 2011 when his house in Thal-Austria was named The Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Museum in his honor.

After Arnold Schwarzenegger left office, he co-founded a global non-profit ‘R20 Regions of Climate Action’, the aim of which was to develop and implement the necessity of climate resilient projects & its need. Arnold Schwarzenegger donated a major share of his time later on towards serving others all over the globe. He also served under George H. W. Bush as a Chairman of the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.

With his devotion towards physical fitness and bodybuilding, Arnold has filed four trademark applications for ‘Arnold’, ‘Arnold Schwarzenegger Muscle Bar’, ’Iron Test’ and ‘Arnold Schwarzenegger’. All four of these include dietary and nutritional supplements that are used by men for losing fat, building muscle, and maintaining fitness in general. In addition to this, he also filed documents to trademarks in the entertainment category with the name ‘Arnold Classic’ and ‘Arnold Sports Festival’, which includes entertainment in body building and fitness competitions and the demonstration of athletic skills. Additionally, he also protected his trademarks for ‘Arnold’ and ‘Schwarzenegger.com’ for clothes such as t-shirts, tops, jackets, caps, hats and more.
