Kylie Jenner Eyes Expansion of Sprinter Brand Beyond Vodka Sodas

Kylie Jenner appears poised to expand her Sprinter brand far beyond its alcoholic origins.

According to new trademark applications filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on June 6, Jenner’s company is planning to offer a range of new products under the Sprinter name—including dietary and nutritional supplements, vitamins, protein-enriched beverages, and sports drinks.

Here are the new “Sprinter” trademark applications:

The filings were made on an “intent-to-use” basis, a strategic move that signals Jenner’s bona fide intention to launch these new products in the near future. As part of the application, Jenner’s company submitted a sworn statement affirming it has a real and good-faith plan to offer these products under the Sprinter name. This sworn declaration is a requirement for securing rights to a trademark that hasn’t yet been used in commerce, but that the applicant intends to use soon.

Jenner originally launched Sprinter as a canned vodka soda. But as alcoholic beverage trademarks typically don’t extend to health and wellness products, the new trademark filings are a necessary step to protect the brand as it grows into new territory.

While there has been no formal announcement from Jenner’s team, the filings strongly suggest that Sprinter could soon become a full-fledged lifestyle brand—moving from happy hour to health aisle.

Stay tuned.
