Jimmy Butler Files Trademarks for “BIG FACE COFFEE”

Jimmy Butler has filed three new trademark applications for the coffee business he started in the NBA Bubble. The applications were just made on September 4 for “BIG FACE COFFEE,” “NO I.O.U.’S” and a logo.

The applications protect Butler’s new brand in association with a variety of goods and services, including apparel, mugs and cups, coffee, produce, sodas and more. By filing the logo and the names separately, Jimmy Butler will be able to use the trademarks independently on products.

In total, Butler paid $4,125 to file these trademarks with the USPTO, not accounting for any attorney fees he was billed. This significant investment in the intellectual property for his coffee business suggests that he intends to take the venture seriously.
