The filing was made on a 1(b) basis, meaning the media company has bona fide intent to use the trademark in association with the goods and services they listed in their application. This includes goods and services like broadcasting and television programming.
It‘s also important to note that NBCUniversal used the same language in this application that they used in their filings for “COMEDY STARTS HERE.” Therefore, this new slogan is likely a response to the coronavirus pandemic.
For these reasons, it’s likely viewers can expect to see the new slogan for NBCUniversal soon.
