Greetings. I’m Trademark Attorney Josh Gerben and I want to talk a little bit about how the trademark registration services work here at Gerben IP. To get started, I just need you to complete the on-line engagement form found on my website. If you go to GerbenLaw.com and you click on the “order” tab at the top of the page, it will take you to this form.
Within 24 hours of receiving your engagement form, I will review your case. At that point, I will send you an e-mail and let you know when I will have the trademark search back. It normally takes about one week to complete the trademark search. In a week, I will return the trademark search to you via email. I will send you an e-mail with a PDF attachment that contains the search results.
Once you review the search results, we normally set up a time to talk. Or you can just e-mail me any questions you have. After you give me your final approval to file the trademark application, we will file it for you with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. It will take approximately six to eight months for the U.S. government to review your application. I will keep you posted as we go through the process, and let you know as soon as your registration certificate is issued.
