Chrissy Teigen is a model, television host, and author. She is married to musician John Legend.

Christine Diane Teigen was born in Delta, Utah on November 30, 1985. She was raised in Snohomish, Washington until she moved with her father to Huntington Beach, California when she was 15. After moving to California, Teigen was employed by a surf shop. It was through this job, that she landed her first modeling gig with the clothing brand, Billabong. During the Billabong shoot, she was discovered by a photographer, launching her career as a model. She began working as a print and runway model, and for the first few years of her career, she worked out of Miami for six months of the year.

Teigen then appeared as a briefcase model on the game show Deal or No Deal in 2006, during the show’s pilot and first season. She is most well-known as a swimsuit model, having first appeared in the 2010 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. In 2011, she made her first move into the world of fashion design by debuting a capsule collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim in Miami. The collection was a collaboration with DiNeila Brazil.

She has been a host or judge for a variety of television shows and events including Model Employee (2013), America’s Next Top Model (2012 and again in 2015), The View (2013-2014), FABLife (2015-2016), Lip Sync Battle (2015-2019) and Chrissy’s Court (2020-2022). Teigen is the executive producer for Untold: The Girlfriend Who Didn’t Exist, which tells the story of football player Manti Te’o. She has also appeared in several of John Legend’s videos including “Stereo,” “All of Me,” “Love Me Now,” “Preach,” and “Wild.” Additionally, she appeared in Fergie’s “M.I.L.F.$” music video. Teigen has written two books: Cravings: Hungry for More (2018) and Cravings: All Together (2021).

Teigen married musician John Legend in 2013 after a two-year engagement. The couple resides in Beverly Hills, California, along with their son and daughter. Teigen’s net worth is estimated to be around $75 million. She is the founder of the lifestyle brand “Cravings” which deals mostly in items around cooking, home decor, health, and beauty.

In 2022, Suit & Thai Productions applied for a trademark for “IT’S CALLED TASTE” for the same vast selection of food items, including meat, dairy, and dry goods.

In 2020, the company applied for a federal trademark registration for “SABAI BY CHRISSY TEIGEN” for cosmetics, candles, downloadable applications, paper products, jewelry, clothing, bags, and entertainment services, all of which are likely associated with a lifestyle brand. It also applied for a trademark for “CHILL BY CRAVINGS” for these same purposes.
