Bradley Bozeman is an offensive lineman in the National Football League. He plays for the Baltimore Ravens. Bozeman was nominated by his team for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award for two consecutive years for his outstanding charity work.

Bradley Bozeman was born and raised in Roanoke, Alabama. He was a self-described “short, chubby outcast” who faced constant bullying. He attended Handley High School, where he played football. He was awarded First Team All-State honors for his efforts his junior year. He spent much of his senior year of high school on the bench, as a knee injury kept him from playing most of that season.

Coming out of high school, Bozeman was considered a four-star recruit. He was recruited by the University of Alabama, Auburn University, Clemson University, and the University of Tennessee. He chose to attend the University of Alabama and play for the renowned coach, Nick Saban.

Bozeman redshirted his freshman season, which was in 2013. In 2014, he had a somewhat limited role for the Crimson Tide, playing in just nine games. He started two games, against Texas A&M and Arkansas, because of an injury to the team’s starting center, Ryan Kelly. During those two starts, he did not allow a single sack. He would help the team to win the National Championship.

During the following season, he was on the field during every single game. He came off the bench to play both guard and center, while also taking snaps on the field goal team and extra point team.

In 2016, Bozeman started all 15 games at center. During that season, he blocked for 11 different 100-yard games by four of his teammates, four from quarterback, Jalen Hurts, four from running back Damien Harris, two from running back, Bo Scarbrough, and one from running back, Josh Jacobs. He helped his team to return to the National Championship game, where they lost to Clemson University.

In 2017, his senior season at the University of Alabama, Bozeman was named unanimous second-team All-American, a team captain, and helped his team to win another National Championship.

While Bozeman was attending the University of Alabama, he met Nikki Hegstetter, who had come to the university from Kennesaw, Georgia to pursue a degree in Marketing. Hegstetter is a great athlete in her own right, having played basketball both in high school and for four years for the Crimson Tide. She was an Allstate WBCA All Works Team nominee and holds several school basketball records. Bozeman proposed to her after winning the National Championship his senior year and the two married in March of 2019.

Bozeman was drafted in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He was chosen by the Baltimore Ravens. As a rookie, he played guard. He saw the field in 14 games, but only started in one. During his second year in the league, he was named the starting left guard. Bozeman started every game of the 2019 and 2020 football seasons for the Baltimore Ravens. In 2021, his position was changed to center, where he was also named the starter. Bozeman is still an active player for the Baltimore Ravens.

In 2018, after leaving college, Bozeman and his wife started the Bradley & Nikki Bozeman Foundation. The purpose of the foundation is “committed to strengthening communities through a variety of initiatives including youth engagement, food security, and education equality.”1

Their foundation has worked with the same legislators who worked to pass Grace’s Law 2.0, which aims to stop cyberbullying, and Bozeman and his wife began a cross-country anti-bullying campaign. Their campaign was cut short due to the onset of the coronavirus pandemic that gripped the country during 2019 and 2020.

During the coronavirus pandemic, the Bozeman’s used their foundation to help to distribute meals in the Baltimore area. They were able to distribute more than three million meals. Bozeman has been recognized by his teammates and the Raven’s organization for his philanthropic efforts. He has been nominated for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award twice, in 2020 and again in 2021.

In 2021, the Bradley & Nikki Bozeman Foundation filed a trademark application for “THE BRADLEY AND NIKKI BOZEMAN FOUNDATION” for advocacy and promoting public awareness of youth education, civic engagement, and food security, for charitable fundraising, and for charitable services such as providing food. Additionally, in 2021, the Bradley & Nikki Bozeman Foundation filed a trademark application for a logo for the foundation which consists of the image of a football player and a basketball player and the name of the foundation for the same purposes.

In 2021, the Bradley & Nikki Bozeman Foundation filed a trademark application for “SYNC” for charity services, specifically, to distribute food. It also filed a trademark application for a logo for SYNC which consists of the stylized words “SYNC Supporting Your Neighbors and Communities” for the same charitable service of distributing food.
