NBC Sports Speaks to Josh Gerben About Fernando Mendoza’s ‘Nandolorian’ Trademark

Fernando Mendoza filed a trademark for ‘Nandolorian,’ after receiving the nickname in the Raiders’ 2026 schedule-release video.

Josh Gerben explains how the trademark filing could cause a clash with Disney and Lucasfilm. 

“The application could spark a fight with Disney and Lucasfilm, which holds 16 trademarks related to the ‘Mandalorian,’ as part of the broader Star Wars universe.” says Gerben.
