Josh Gerben was quoted by the Nikkei Asian Review regarding the Increase in Trademark Applications from China

The Nikkei Asian Review recently reported on the increase of trademark filings from Chinese applicants, as the Japan Patent Office has seen the same surges as the USPTO.  It is been believed this increase is due to the government subsidies that the Chinese government is offering those who achieve international trademark registrations.

Josh Gerben was quoted by the Nikkei Asian Review regarding a possible reason behind the Chinese government subsidies:

The payments may be intended to “undermine the U.S. trademark system,”
