Josh Gerben and Reuters Discuss Novo Nordisk’s Possible Legal Claims Against Hims

Novo Nordisk, the maker of Wegovy has filed lawsuits against dozens of other companies that are selling less expensive versions of the drug.

Reuters and Josh Gerben discuss what possible legal claims Novo Nordisk would have against Hims.

The two companies once had an agreement that allowed Hims to sell Wegovy directly to consumers. This agreement ended in June after Novo Nordisk accused Hims of violating its intellectual property.

Trademark attorney Josh Gerben says that any claim made by Novo Nordisk will be complicated by the fact that the two companies had a prior business relationship.
