Forbes Quotes Josh Gerben About Neuralink’s “TELEPATHY” Trademark Application

Neuralink, Elon Musk’s neurotechnology company, has filed trademark applications to protect the names of future products. The application for “TELEPATHY” was most interesting as it indicates the potential for human-to-human telepathic communication.

Forbes quoted Josh Gerben’s analysis of the “TELEPATHY” trademark filing. 

Trademark attorney Josh Gerben notes that “The ethical, privacy, and security concerns surrounding thought-based communication and control are immense.” However, the filings were made on an intent-to-use basis, which means that Neuralink has genuine plans to commercial sell these products.
