Josh Gerben Quoted by CBS Sports about Trademark Challenge with LA Football Teams

LA Gear, a shoe company whose popularity peaked in the 90s, has opposed trademark filings for the NFL teams LA RAMS and LA CHARGERS. The shoe company filed the challenge stating that consumers would think that the LA RAMS and LA CHARGERS clothing items could be confused with LA GEAR shoes because of the use of “LA” in the trademarks.

Josh Gerben was quoted by CBS Sports about LA Gear’s chances of winning their argument:

“The Cleveland Browns probably have a better chance of winning the Super Bowl than LA Gear does of winning this case,”
