Eric Perrott Presents to Distinguished USPTO-Invited Foreign Intellectual Property Officials

As a part of its global training program, the United States Patent and Trademark Office invited foreign officials from multiple Asian countries to the USPTO’s Global Intellectual Property Academy for the annual conference on emerging intellectual property law and policy. The program series features IP Office administrative best practices that can enhance the innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem of the region.In 2017, Eric Perrott of Gerben IP provided insight on the considerations U.S. and foreign businesses make when deciding what trademarks can (and should) be protected in the United States. Perrott was honored to speak to such distinguished guests and to provide different perspectives for these officials to consider when shaping the intellectual property laws in their own countries.
