Josh Gerben and The Athletic Discuss Caleb Williams’ New ‘Iceman’ Trademark Filings

Caleb Williams recently filed trademarks with the USPTO to protect his ‘Iceman’ nickname.

Josh Gerben explains how the trademark filings will move through the trademark registration process.

According to trademark attorney Josh Gerben, the trademark process usually takes between 14 and 18 months. The USPTO must review the requests and if approved, publish them for a 30-day window during which a third party can oppose the registrations.
